To be fair, I haven't climbed Kili. That said, I didn't wear these for a winter ascent of Ben Nevis but would be happy to do so in the summer. So I guess the short answer is No, I don't think so ?

To be honest, i'd say no. I climbed kili a couple of years ago and was glad of the rigidity and sturdiness gained from proper walking boots. The ankle support is probably not enough on the Kilimanjaro boot. The tread is ok underneath, but i'd recommend looking at something with a greater level of support. I did it in some Raichle (now mammut) Sierras and they coped admirably. Berghaus' explorers might be worth a shot, but my highest recommendation would be the Scarpa ZG65. Great breathability for lower level stuff, but keep your feet warm at the top. Hope that helps!
Not a great deal, the sole tread has changed slightly I think but I didn't notice any real difference.

The difference between the boots is a slightly different version of a Vibram sole unit and the original Kilimanjaro had PU leathers in but the II version uses slightly different materials. Quality and spec wise they are exactly the same.

I don't know but I'm pretty sure any standard boot lace would do - To be fair to the product, I've used the boot pretty hard and not managed to break a lace yet.

The length of the shoe laces used for these boots is 150cm which is the standard length for most boots. Thank you
